Meal Prep Sunday 1/5/20


Happy New Year, friends!!

I can't wrap my head around the fact that it's already 2020!!Β  I have somehow made it through 3+ decades and can still remember rocking out to Destiny's Child waiting for all the computers to explode on Y2K.Β  But here I am, still jamming to Beyonce twenty years later and shaking my head that hair scrunchies are back in style!Β  In my mind I haven't aged a bit... πŸ˜‰

I'm back in the kitchen and looking forward to getting back on track this week with meal prep.Β  I took some time off over the holiday to rest and set my goals for 2020.Β  I've been working on a new program which I am VERY excited about.Β  It's a self guided E-Book workout program built for anyone looking to get a head start on their fitness goals in the new year. It consists of 4 workouts you can do at home or in the gym and a 2 week meal plan.Β  I give you suggestions on how to program the workouts based on your schedule and fitness goals.Β  I will be running a Challenge group very soon, so stay tuned for more info!

The menu this week is actually one of the meal plans included in the program.Β  Β  Simple recipes that can all be made in under 30 minutes.Β  I prepped all my breakfasts and lunches for the week this morning in less than 2 hours (clean up and toddler interruptions included).Β  The dinners are slow cooker meals that you can throw together in the morning and have ready to eat when you get home.

Time is the biggest barrier I hear when it comes to eating healthy and getting in shape.Β  There is no denying it's hard work, but it's also hard being unhappy with yourself.Β  There are no short cuts to getting fit, but I promise the time you put in now will pay off ten fold down the road.
